Scalloped Banner layout with Pick Me Up

2018/04/16

Hi ladies! I am so happy to share with you my newest page because I really love it and I hope you will as well. This 12x12 scrapbook layout was made with Pink Paislee Pick-Me-Up collection and Paige's Scalloped Banner cut file.

I chose Paper 06 for my background which is one of my favorites from the entire collection. I cut out the Scalloped Banner from white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I cut apart the awesome Paper 10 and selected pinkish, blueish, and yellowish paper pieces. I backed the first row with the warm tones, second one with blue and teal papers, and the last row with yellow and mustard colors. I machine stitched on the edges of the banner. It was a challenge to stitch the scallops, therefore the results are not perfect, but I love the color and texture it adds.

After the base was ready, I adhered the banner to the background and started to embellish. I used tiny pieces from the Chipboard Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, Puffy Stickers, Stickers, and Haberdashery Multi-Pack. I used the tone-on-tone technique to decorate the banner.

I have placed over every row a title. The "grateful" word is from the Chipboard Stickers, the "FUN!" title was made with the pretty Chipboard Thickers, and I found the "extraordinary" die cut in the Ephemera Die Cuts - I love the fancy gold frame around it!

In the end I placed my two photos and decorated with flowers and leaves. The Scalloped Banner cut file totally charmed me. It looks even better when you cut it out. You must try it! Thanks for stopping by today!
